How do I check out a book?

First locate the book [more information] then take the book to the Circulation Desk on the first floor of the library. You will need to present one of the following forms of identification:

• Lamar University student, faculty, or staff identification card

• Lamar Institute of Technology (L.I.T.) student, faculty, or staff identification card

• Lamar University or L.I.T. alumni card

• TexShare card

• Friends of the Library card
